In September 2017, according to the news from MIIT (Ministry of Industry and Information Technology) and CAQ (China Association for Quality), "Practical Experience in Implementing the Excellent Performance Mode" declared by Xingtai Steel was voted as "Quality Benchmarking in 2017" and recommended as regular practice experience.
The selection of quality benchmarking is sponsored by MIIT (Ministry of Industry and Information Technology) and undertaken by CAQ (China Association for Quality). It considered responses from more than 270 companies across the country. Since March, the selection leading by Quality control departmenthas been well planned and implemented according to the requirements “Document preparation and submission, PowerPoint presentation for typical experience, documentaries of Implementation process and product promotion”. Finally, there are 33 companies in the list after preliminary review for application documents, on-site assessment, professor approval, website report and other steps. Xingtai Steel is the only steel company which was listed in the country.
