Recently, the news came from the worksite that third line workshop for quality works successfully rolled Φ22mm stainless steel 430F. The production process was smooth and rolling parameters had met the State's technical standardized requirements.
As a kind of high-end steel in stainless steel industry, 430F was the base metal of stainless steel polished rod which was used to produce lamps, decorations and various shaped parts for corrosive environment. The product has wide market potential and high added-value. Because of the first rolling of this size, the temperature, dimensions and process are strictly required. Our technicians made production scenarios in advance according to experience of rolling in small size and provided specific trainings for workers before trial rolling. Besides, we also carefully organized and arranged the maintenance procedure. During the process, every worker operates meticulously in strict accordance with the operating points and technicians tracked on the scene. That ensured the rolling process went on wheels.
Upon testing, the finished size, surface quality, product performance and process Control are all satisfy the planned requirements. This trial rolling brought new specifications of stainless steel products and also provided a strong guarantee for the company to improve the efficiency.
