Recently, the list of high-qualitified metallurgy products was released by China Iron and Steel Association. “ML08Al steel wire rod for cold heading and cold extrusion” and “ML20MnTiB steel for cold heading and cold extrusion” are on the list, awarded rhe Gold Cup Prize of Metallurgy Products. To date, in the fields of alloy cold heading steel, wire rope steel, bearing steel, steel for welding, pre-stressed steel, free-machining steel, and weathering steel, nearly 50 products of Xingtai Steel have received this honor. That means the quality of our high-end products reach the international level of similar products.
The Gold Cup Prize is an evaluation and recognition activity organized by China Iron and Steel Association. It is also the only evaluation activity for the quality of real products in steel industry.
A total of 32 products from 19 steel mills in wire group participated in this activity, including Xingtaicheng Special Steel, Nanjing Iron and Steel, Xingtai Steel, Qingdao Special Steel and other enterprises, involving alloy cold heading steel, tire cord steel, bearing steel and other types of steel, with grades including B7, SCM435, ML40Cr, 15B25M, 10B21, GCr15, C82DA, XSWRH82B, ML20MnTiB, ER70S-6, 1215MS, etc. After expert review and questioning, two cold heading steel products declared by Xingtai Steel ultimately broke through successfully and won unanimous recognition from the attending evaluation experts.
