Under the theme of "Innovative Development, Green Manufacturing", the 2024 China Shanghai International Fastener Industry Expo commenced on May 22 at the Shanghai World Expo Exhibition Center. This prestigious event brought together top players in the fastener industry to explore cutting-edge trends.
Zhang Yuming, Party Committee Secretary and Chairman of Xingtai Iron & Steel Co., Ltd., attended the opening ceremony as a distinguished guest. At the invitation of the organizers, he joined other industry leaders in officially inaugurating the 2024 fastener industry gala. The company's delegation also included General Manager Peng Shidan, Chief Engineer and Chairman's Assistant Tian Xinzong.
As China's leading special steel wire rod producer, Xingtai Steel made a prominent appearance at the expo. The company showcased its advanced technologies and competitive advantages in the special steel sector. Notably in the automotive field, after nearly a decade of certification efforts, Xingtai Steel has obtained approvals from 10 major automakers including Honda, GM, SAIC, Ford, and XPeng, with products applied across European, American, Japanese and Korean vehicle platforms.
Organized by the Fastener Branch of China General Machine Components Industry Association, the three-day expo featured: 42,000 sq.m exhibition space. Nearly 2,000 standard booths. Over 1,000 exhibitors, 38,000 domestic and international visitors.
During the event, key clients including Ningbo Times, Chongqing Fanglue and Kamax conducted in-depth discussions at Xingtai Steel's booth, exploring strategic win-win cooperation opportunities.
